About Me

Early Life

I was born and raised as the first child in a Christian family of 14 children (8 from my mother and 6 from stepmother), on 13th day of February 1965 to the family of the Late Mr. Clifford Ojeriakhi Imudia and the Late Mrs. Lucy Nogieru Imudia (Nee Okundaye) in Oza-Nogogo in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Even though my parents did not have the experience of any formal education, my father witnessed the influence of conventional education through his work experience as a plumber in the then Bendel State Water Board.

He, therefore, fostered in his children the importance of formal schooling. I undertook primary and secondary education at Olumo Primary School, Lafenwa, Abeokuta, Ogun State, and Oghada, Edo State respectively, and completed a Certificate in Education at College of Education, Agbor, Delta State.

Further Education

In the year 1994, my future in the legal profession was birthed at the prestigious Abo Akademi University in Abo, Finland. I furthered my legal education by extending my studies into the Strategic area of International Trade and Maritime related Laws at the Institute of Commercial Law of Turku University System, Turku, Finland; Scandinavia Institute of Maritime Law, Oslo, Norway; And afterwards obtained a Master’s Degree in Maritime and Admiralty Law from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A.

Europe and U.S.A provided a wealth of opportunity for my younger self, especially for the academic scholarships offered by the aforementioned schools and the unapparelled high-quality education.

From Walden University, Minneapolis, U.S.A, I acquired a Doctor of Business Administration in 2012 with specialty in Global supply chain management and sub-specialty: Leadership and decision-making science.

In 2013 I completed my Ph.D. in Sustainability from Akamai University, Hawaii, U.S.A.

Family

I have been married for over 28 years to Dr. Anthonia N. Imudia, a former assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University. She is currently an attorney with CFUIS and the managing partner of Imudia Law – a litigation Law Firm. Our marriage has produced two wonderful children, a daughter, and a son. Adesuwa Imudia the daughter and first child was born in 1999. She is a graduate of the Department of Computer Science at Columbia University in the City of New York. She presently works as a Software Engineer at BlackRock while her brother Ehinoma Isioma Imudia was born in 2002.
He is presently studying Biomedical Engineering at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut.

Interests

Asides from corporate interests revolving around “global reach and change”, when not discussing with my litigation team or nurturing new business concepts, I enjoy exploring new cultures with my family as avid travelers.
